Dug my old bow out and started getting out last week some. It,s a old Fox Fire 125#,Been looking at new used ones lol.175# and 200#.What I would like to know is what kind of distance will these shoot accurate with a scope.I have the pin sights on my old bow with the peep on it and its harder to see now than it was 15 yrs ago lol. any info would really be helpful Thanks OBM
  2. thats sweet man. i have 2 old fox fires. my dad bought em brand new when i was a kid. i shot my first buck with it and its still my biggest to date. ive shot it accurate to 45 yards. but i wouldnt shoot over 35 with it. they are heavy as heck but man they are accurate. i have pins on both. never thought about put'n a scope on it. i shoot a ten pt. for about 7 years now. i was sick of luggin that heavy thing around.

  3. You have to go out and shoot it. You can't just assume. Personally, I wouldn't shoot it at all until there was a new string on it.
