Spring Peepers

    I was out cleaning fish and when I went to bury the carcasses in the garden...what's that sound, can't be it's too cold, well I'll be,the Spring Peepers were just beginning to sing their song. Spring has arrived:D

    You guys down south have been 20-30F warmer than us up north.
    We are still waiting on the ice to leave many lakes. Last Friday morning was the first time I heard birds chirping in the morning.


    There are three things I love in spring. The sound of peepers, the smell of fresh cut grass and the smell of freshly plowed earth!

    The only sound I hear up north here is the sound of my frozen b*lls
    jingling together.........:p :eek: :p

    Though about fishing Sunday morning til the fiance noticed it was only 17 out...

    When it's that cold, you cold always put an extra set of handwarmers in your undies.................:D Don't want to let the cold or anything else get in the way of your fishin'.......

    Heard them for the first time today also. Back in a swampy woods. (what isn't swampy around here right now... lol) Anyways it was awsome to hear it!
