I've been having some luck at 72nd this past week. It's been spotty. Wed. night I limited but caught them super shallow. (I was using hj's with no lips.) I started for them the last two weeks and this week was the first time this spring I hooked up. Last year was May 1 in 46 degree water. Anyone else having any luck from shore? Figured we had a good fall night bite thread so why not spring?

We been using p10 clown and green hjs been doing ok. How shallow are you going and you using the same colors

Clown and natural colored (Helsinki and black/silver). The lipless Hj14's run like 2-3 feet. So as shallow as that and as deep as what a DHJ goes. So all over the water column. P10 PerchChase has produced a few fish for me too.

Made the drive to Huron last night, got one 28" spawned out female. Lost another half way in. Had one more bump and that was it. Fished 8-12pm. Clown hj was the only lure they hit.
