Spillway Fishing???

Discussion in 'Central Ohio Fishing Reports' started by st.slippy, Feb 24, 2009.

  1. Want to hit up a spillway tomorrow. I've been going to alum and hoover all winter, with no fish to show for it. Anyone getting anything at either of those? Any suggestions? Below Dillon or Buckeye? Or is Deercreek the only one producing?
  2. Depending on the water conditions, the Dillon spillway often produces crappie, sunfish, saugeye and even yellow perch in the winter.

Try the dam at deleware or lowheads south.........less pressure
  4. I couldn't get on here to see the posts the site wouldn't let me access it. I wish I would have seen it. there were 50-60 people there at all times. Was at deercreek for 6 hours. I saw some decent fish caught but I like a quiet fishing experience. well maybe next time.
