souped up motor?

    I don't know much about motors, but I'm wondering if anyone can tell me some easy ways to squeeze a little more power and speed out of a motor...??? I have a 4 stroke yamaha 25 on a 22ft pontoon, and I'd like get a little more juice out of it...Can this be done? If so, is it legal?

    You'd be further ahead to just trade it in on a bigger motor.

    you can mod any motor shave the head port it advance the timing nitrous

    but I would just trade up on a new motor rated for the max hp of your boat

    boat is rated for a 115, but the lake has a 25hp max...so i'm kinda limited on the motor...
