Went to snowden today from about 6-8:30, water was muddy but starting to even out a little. Fished the banks around all the coves on the right side all the way to the dam.

Didnt get anything on cranks tried all orange-brown and cold combinations.
Nothing on spinners or topwater either.

My buddy who i set up on a family crappie rig, got a nice 1#crappie and than a lil later got a nice 3-4#channel cat

Thanks for the report, you didn't happen to see any carp while you were out there did ya?

A small school of them were suspended near the muth of a cove and when i went over it spooked them and they swam away, scared me pretty good. None of the usual jumping though that i always see carp doing in other places, just that small school.

Sounds good, thanks for the report. I've never personally seen carp in Snowden, another guy on the forums was asking about it and it got me wondering. Thanks a lot!
