Most of the snow and ice has melted off here in Strasburg. I don't know about the ice condition at Tappen, but I would suspect alot of it is melting and very thin. I haven't been by the lake since early last week.
I am in the same area, and I am certain that the snow is gone from the roads, but I am not sure on the lakes. It hit 51 degrees here today around 1:30 2 o'clock this afternoon. Rockbass said the other day that Clendening still has ice on it, but I think that may have even melted by now with the temps we have had here. I cannot complain about the temperature so far this week! Good time to come down while you can still get here!
thanks for the info. getting ready to head down now. will check out the lakes, if not frozen might try my luck.
