The spoon bite is picking up over here. Tip them with a minnow and fish them over brush. Drift or troll them. They worked good over at mosquito lake this spring too. Give em a try.

  2. NICE! Nick and I were going to come over yesterday but my trolling motor is out of commission. I need a new plus for it (female).

We had all the gear ready to go too. Had fun with steelhead but we wanted to get into the crappie too. Once I get it fixed, we'll be there!

Carl, you dont need the trolling motor. Just find the stump and drop an anchor.:) Went out wednesday and got 16 really nice ones. Hope to get out friday for a few hours. Can only fish a few hours saturday but if you and Nick want to join me, let me know.

  4. Sarah and Nick have soccer tournament Saturday, but Sunday might be a possibility.

    We'll see... ;)

Carl, they're still hitting the spoons. Got these today fishing spoons and minnows over deep stumps.
