Going to start hitting some better spots tomorrow. The closer we get to March the more I will hit the good spots that hold better deer

2 dead heads for the year so far neither big. I know theirs sheds laying on the property I'm at now so damn thick hard saying if I will find any. Taking a break then back at it

From our cameras we aren’t even to 50 % shed so far. Have found 8 but staying out of anything good as to not run out any that still have horns. Hard to be patient for sure.

I said a couple weeks ago that 50% of the bucks around me had dropped. I was wrong on that analysis. I had multiple bucks drop their antlers in a fairly short time span, then nothing else. I pull cards twice a week and most of the bucks are still holding both antlers.

Couple pictures from yesterday. Its small but was excited to see it. We also have a lot holding antlers. One guy we hunt with sets pheasants for his dog to flush. Must have been a miss . Surprised it's still around with all the predators

3rd trip out this year and found this match set.

Seems the last 3 days have been high number dropping. Approaching 60% on our cameras. Found 2 matched sets tonight to get to a dozen on the year. Another week or so and we will get serious about it.

Finally on the board. Wife and I walked 3.5 miles last Saturday and had no luck. Well today we took the 4 wheelers out for a short 5 minute ride around the field and I spotted 2.

Hit the woods/fields for 7 hours today and found nothing!

Well i couldnt take it, so I went back out while the wife went in to warm up and found 2 more.

We will be back at it again tomorrow in Monroe county at our other farm. Hopefully with a little luck we will find a few more.
