    I see that seneca lake is real low, can you launch a boat still? Wonder why they have lowered it so much, is it normal?? Thanks!

    the dock are usually unusable to launch because of winter draw down. you can launch ,but the docks are 6 ft in the air,so theres nothing to tie up to.

    i was over there last week and saw a small boat out on the island out from the beach.not sure where he launched,but we checked a couple ramps and launching would likely be tough there.i think the low water is just normal winter drawdown.
  4. They have the lake drawed down to replace more of the rip-rap along the dam. The only way to put a boat in is beside the ramp with a 4x4 like the duck hunters have been doing.
