seneca crappie

  1. crappie fishing at seneca lake has been outstanding for the last two weeks. im finding the fish in shallow cover and catching them on jigs and also minnows with bobbers set at about two feet. good cover is hard to find and you have to keep moving when the bite slows down but its worth it. these are very nice fish with most well above the nine inch limit. im also catching some nice bass off the points and cover on shad raps and jigs but the saugeye fishing has been poor. maybe the have moved out to deeper water or down to the dam.
