Being that the state is not selling tree seedlings this spring, I am looking for another supplier of inexpensive seedling such as white pine and different varieties of poplar. I am looking for fast growing trees mostly. Also would like to find a supplier of apple and pear trees. I have tried online and it is crazy what some are wanting for seedling, plus the S&H charges! Any help would be appreciated.

  2. You might want to talk to some of the local cut-your-own Christmas tree farms. My father-in-law used to run from Canton over to eastern ohio near the PA border and pick them up by the thousands--pine, spruce, etc. Unfortunately, I can't recall the name.

  4. Not sure how they match up pricewise, but Arbor Day foundation sells lots of trees. www.arborday.org
