Hit up the river in the afternoon. Got a vast array of species. Here is the list and our count.

Freshwater Drum: 3 (one was 10lbs)

    Saugeye: Countless (one was 21")

    Sauger: Full sauger, 3
    Smallie: Countless, all about 12"
    Spotted Bass: 1
    White Bass: 1

The summer bite is on, no more spawners! Saugslayer and I are going back today, will report.
  2. Nice fish! Keep up the good work!

They hit on white, and a minnowish color with foil flakes in it. I went again tonight for a bit and got a little eye, lost a big smallie, and my buddy caught a nice 4lb cat.
  7. you obviously are a wader, like myself....generally, where do you start to get into the Scioto? No secrets, just areas..and thanks!
