Salt Fork Report (Monday Morning Till Noon)

Discussion in 'Southeast Ohio Fishing Reports' started by Sr.Jigger, Aug 27, 2007.

  1. All that lunar moon stuff going on must have woke up the fish a little.
Had a good trip and many different fish were hitting. A good buddy (Robert)went with me and he landed a sweet 17" walleye into the boat and lost/missed some good ones. Crappie / Bass / Catfish / Bulegill all caught. Only kept the Walleye. Water was 80 degrees with a lite breeze and much cleaner than I've seen in a while. Still the sun got pretty hot by 11:00am but we quite by noon. We had a ball. I'm really looking for it to cool down now and get in some good fall fishing. :B
