  1. Got skunked :S
With in a hour after dark the fog came up so thick we were blind. We put in at the rangers station launch. Heck it would be tuff to gig a frog in the boat. The water was so warm and the cool night air made a thick layer of fog like soup. We was about 2 mile away from where we slipped the boat in and thanks to the GPS built into my sonar unit we found our wat back to the launch. Wish they would put up a pole light there to make it easy to find at night. Still had fun I guess, and got back home at midnight.
  2. I know what you are talking about there!! I have been caught out there several times when that fog rolls in!! One minute things are O.K. then the next, nothing but fog. Wish I had a GPS like you, it would make things a lot better at night.
