Salt Fork 6-4

Discussion in 'Southeast Ohio Fishing Reports' started by jpackr, Jun 7, 2004.

  1. Fished Salt Fork from 6:30-3:30 on Friday. Water clarity wasn't too bad. Temps started at 70 in the morning and was 74 by mid-afternoon.
Worked quick drop-offs in the coves of the ski zone areas. Caught a total of five keeper largemouths with the largest 3.25#. Also caught three channels, about 10 crappie and two small eyes. All caught on Yo-Zuri crankbait and 6" Senkos.
What a difference this lake is regarding pressure from Friday to Saturday. Friday there were times we were the only boat we could see. Saturday, I could have walked across Salt Fork and not get wet.
    Have a good one.
