Salt Fork 10/19 - 10/21

  1. Myself and a few buddies are headed to salt fork this weekend for a bit of golf, fishing and possibly hunting. We will not have a boat, what area's would you suggest to concentrate or efforts? As far as the hunting goes, are the doves still hanging around? better shooting in the morning or the afternoon? thanks for the help/advice
  2. We spent last week there and did well on crappies but we had a boat. Didn't see any doves or geese but a lot of deer in huntable ground. Lots and lots of good bucks for the park this year. They have begun to manage it well and it has helped the huntable population. There were several guys fishing from the docks in front of the cabins and they were doing very well on cats and gills. Hope this helps.
