went out of r.r. today lake was nice but bites were not there, tried the first marker bouy, moved to Lakewood park deeper, went to the gold coast, back to the dollhouse, 1 perch and 1 white bass to show for it. talked to a guy who was at the crib and went out to avon point with still nothing to show for it. only goldies and frozen shiners to use. good luck if your going out.

Went out of Whiskey Island with a buddy of mine. Tried 43fow in front of stadium, 52fow past crib, right next to crib, and in close by the cuyahoga river light house and didn't catch a single keeper. Slow day all over by the chatter on the radio. East is least, they say. Maybe tomorrow

The perch are all down here off Sandusky not sure why most years August is a slow month down here but this year it has been great.
