I'm a rookie launching from 72nd steeet. Trying to pull some perch this morning. this my first trip out as an adult on my own boat. Getting back into fishing in over 10 years.

taking worm harnesses to troll breakwall also hoping to get some eyes also..

any suggestions on lures/bait or locations?

I would suggest you check the nearshore lake forecast for today first, calling for 1 to 3 footers with high chance of thunderstorms. Be careful out there. As for the perch, we fished in 32 feet of water in front of hospital at Wildwood and caught 33 yesterday. Wildwood had emerald shiners, which helped. Fish seemed to shut down around 10am. Good luck!

if you troll for eyes gofrom 30' fow to 40'fow,setup your harness to 20' deep,15' and 25' deep, speed 1.5 to 1.9 GPS.
I use 3 Oz inline sinkers for trolling.
if I like to set my line to 20' deep I relese on counter real 40' .
