Rods4Kids Seeks Support

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Heartlander, Aug 31, 2005.

  1. Through a special arrangement with Zebco Fishing, Heartland Outdoorsman is able to acquire Rod/Reel/Tackle Packages at a significantly reduced rate and DONATE them to the Children of Military Personnel.
We are looking for Fishing and Sporting Clubs and Businesses large and small to help us in this ambitious endeavor.
Please visit us on the web for more information and consider giving your group a substantial promotional boost by being a Rods4Kids Active Sponsor.
We have already been referenced by print media outlets across the Midwest, and will be sending press releases far and wide for radio and television when the number of participants warrants.

  2. We are now accepting individual donations under the Rods4Kids Program, and are very pleased to announce that Triton Boats has stepped up as one of the sponsors of this endeavor.

Any individuals choosing to contribute $25 or more will receive a "Team Triton" Hat!

Thanks to all that have supported this to date, and we look forward to many more.

With many of our Illinois active servicemen and women being called on to perform heroic deeds, it's our turn to step up and make sure the kids have the tools at their disposal to enjoy the sport of fishing just as we do.

Note that this is only Phase 1 of a comprehensive program, with more usergroups to benefit after the military kids are well taken care of.
As we are registered under the Illinois Charitable Trust Act, you can be assured that your donations are going to be used for the purposes stated at all times.

Please look inside your heart to help us in our efforts, it is greatly appreciated.

I'd also like to note that businesses, organizations and clubs are still being sought as Sponsors and will be showcased as such in multiple media formats across the country.

  3. In addition, we just started an Auction for a Triton Logo Life Jacket, made by Stearns.
It retails for $70, so you know the quality is significant.

As a registered Charitable Trust, you can be assured that your money is going to this benevolent purpose.
Now let's get these Kids fishing!
