Went out of rocky with the wife and kid. We pulled 7 right out front between 46-51, in about 4 hours of fishing. Worms 40-60 back flatlines and boards on 2 oz inlines. Think we did better on the flatlines by one fish. Nice day, biggest fish was 27". :glasses-cool:

I tried out the fathers day present early -- an electric filet knife! It was cool but I'm not used to taking the ribs out after. Any tips to making it easier?

Seahawk,
I think if you turn the fillet over(inside of meat on top) and cut a 'V' shaped piece out that includes the ribs, you will have boneless fillets. We cut up perch this way when we are in a hurry, should work on walleye too. If you look at the fillet from the face side, you can imagine where the bones are and cut them out from the front back. It will take a wide 'V' to catch all the ribs. Try it on some perch to get the hang of it.

best,
Rickerd
