River Conditions

Discussion in 'Northeast Ohio Fishing Reports' started by matthew1074, Aug 24, 2007.

  1. If anyone is down at any of the rivers, could you post the water conditions? I wish odnr did what the west virginia one does and make a weekly report on water levels and clarity ...

I will check out the Rocky this afternoon although I think it will still be too soon to fish it

    KSUFLASH respect our rivers please

    chagrin currently 185 cfs
    vermillion currently 293 cfs
    rocky currently 235 cfs

based upon these numbers, the chagrin looks to be fishable based upon flow, yet I am sure it is a bit murky.

  4. Chagrin is still really murky. Good water flow levels, but really murky.

  5. Grand, VERY murky water levels are decent

  6. Visability in the Rocky was about a foot and a half while I was there today around the golf courses. I didn't have much luck but did land 2 nice size (10"-12") smallies in a deep hole away from the current. Man that last flush really rearranged the river, lots of errosion and trees falling in.
