I have a Remington 597 .22 LR for sale. It is all black, synthetic stock. Tasco Pronghorn 4X32 scope. The elastic bands on the scope covers are a little stretched out. Every once in a while, it will not fully eject a cartridge. This was a common problem in all the 597's. It is remedied by replacing the stock plastic magazine with a metal one. I have not replaced the magazine. I was aware of the problem and didn't shoot it to much so I just never sprung for one. I'm sure they are pretty inexpensive. I also have a rifle case that comes with it and a key to turn the safety on and off. This little gun has killed many squirrels and has many more left in it. It is in excellent condition. I am asking $125 for it.
