Trade Days coming this weekend. Hopefully no rain. Look to do some trades over there to get some good old firearms made of fine American Steel. I my case plastics need not apply. To get in the groove I cut a deal this AM and got another S&W revolver. Nice little M63 Kit Gun. One of the new models with the Flo sights. Grips are factory ugly rubbers. I will remedy that, can’t abide them ugly grips. S&W no longer makes grips in house. The grip making department is gone and all grips subbed out. I’m up one S&W and down one Winchester.

What do you mean by junk? Actually in poor condition or just guns your not interested in?
Both mostly poor condition and lower end guns. Only two tables had good guns. 500 for 870 express 1100 for remington 1100. Who would pay that price for those guns?

I just got home there were guns out the butt. I had one of best days ever. I didn’t see that many junk guns as far as condition. I didn’t have any junk and had table full of Browning A5 shotguns, 22 rifles and case full of pistols. Nary one junker but didn’t have anything for $17.52 either.

The Browning A5 is very overrated shotgun. The recoil is terrible. On sporting clay range OU and gas semi auto rule. Why would anyone buy older guns without choke tubes? Your shotgun needs to be versatile turkey hunting one sporting clays the next day. I didn't see any B shotguns beretta benelli or browning gold or silver . Lots of overpriced remington and mossberg shotguns and other lower in guns . Most rifles where priced over new prices. Just my personal opinion.

And just your opinion it’ll stay! I would take a Belgian or Japanese A-5 over any junk Benelli any day. Or even a Remington model 11. A-5’s were made when people depended on them to put meat on the table. Beretta’s and Benelli’s are made to shoot a round of trap and sit in the safe until next year. And I own guns made by all 3 so……

The average hunter in ohio probably shoots less then 100 rounds per year. The average clay shooter average well over 1000 rounds per year. If the gun shoots over and 1000 rounds on clay range it will work in field also. Lots of water fowl and turkey hunter love Benelli. Those guns get used hard. Pumps and side by side put lots meat on the tables also. If I was get a small game gun it would be OU or SS more versatile. To say one brand sucks is crazy . I owned all 3 also. And shot or 15000 rounds so I have good idea what work and won't work.

If a gun works it works doesn't mean it's any better than the other gun. all guns have to be kept clean. 3rd thing my father taught me👍
Benelli is what I would call “The Glock of Shotguns”. It works, it shoots so do numerous other shotguns. The A5 had longest running manufacture of any shotgun. It also had Remington and Savage as well as house brands selling same gun. Although they are out of production they are still sought after.
