Hit the LMR with a friend this morning. Hard to believe there'd ever be a day in late July where conditions were low 60's and constant rain, but it was still nice to be out.

Couldn't figure out the fish today after trying a few different patterns and stretches of water. I managed a dink smallie and dink white bass on a lipless crank. My buddy pulled in a few nice smallies and added a white bass and chunky sauger on a silver stick bait.

Water clarity was surprisingly good in shallow stretches, probably close to 18". That clarity didn't carry over to the deeper water as it was quite stained. Water level was rising, but still very fishable.

Anyone have some guidance for future rainy cold front conditions?
