Rain rain rain

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by RWBlue, Aug 30, 2005.

  1. How is this rain going to effect the fishing at um say a lake like Hoover?

Good weekend fishing or slow weekend fishing?
Change the color of the lure?
Morning, evening or ? better time?

    Thanks

I say the lakes will look just like the rivers and streams look right now...high and muddy.
Since Columbus has no land locked lakes and they are all stream fed, stick close to the brush if hunting predator fish...use bright colors and rattle type baits. Most of the time in high water fish will seak out the clearest water they can find and they will hug the banks.

The cleanest water should be close to the dam. At least early then it all usually goes to pot...
