I am looking at a friend's Berretta 682 S over/under. It was new in 1990 and is used but in pristine (98%) condition. I have not had much luck finding a good solid value on this gun through the online auction sites and armslist, etc, prices seem to be anywhere from 1200-2200. Anyone have a ballpark idea on the value? I am thinking around 1500 or so but let me know if I am way off.

Have you checked a Blue Book value? I would also call a few local gun shops and find one of them selling this model used.
I have been trying my best to avoid paying the "panic prices" found online.
