I met up with Peple of the perch this am at about 8 and found a foggy lake
and a frosty boat ramp. We headed out for a day of bassin and fun.
We got one but not the other.:D
Found 55 degreewater at 8am and it warmed to 57-58 by 3pm.
Marked a ton of fish on the graphs in anything deeper that fow and had a hard time getting anything to bite. The bass fishing was as bad as I've seen
it. We had alot of bites but they were short stiking everything. Tryed trialer hooks and stringers left and right but it just wasn't my day.
    Now to the big fish.
Peples got his on a tube in 6fow and I got mine i about 5 fow on a spinnerbait.
    Peples 5.6lb walleye
    Mine 7.8lb walleye
    pics coming

smallie, are you saying you got smallmouth this big? i know they are in there, but those are hogs, if indeed you caught bass. the lake is one good fishery for bass. plan on starting to fly fish for them this coming year.
