  1. Just got back from a four day trip to Pymatuning. This walleye fishery has gone downhill due to erratic stocking (in my opinion). Very few fish as opposed to other years. (This is a yearly trip and over the last three has gone downhill dramatically.) Locals talk of the last two years not being stocked and only fingerlings being stocked this year. Caught about 10-15% the number of fish we used to catch, and most of them just barely keepers. No throwbacks to speak of, unless you count the 3-5 inch occassional walleye we hooked into. White bass and Crappie seem to be doing well, as thats mostly what we hooked while trolling for walleye. Hope everyone has a safe and productive fishing year.
