Sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I didn't know him but from all your post he sounds like a heck of a outdoorsman an one that liked to share his knowledge an a all around great guy. RIP Ron 🙏

I don't come in here much anymore. But reading about the passing of Shortdrift saddened me. I met him first way back at the Hetfests at turtle creek. I went for four years and came to know a few of the Lake Erie guys. Always willing to help with anything it seemed. He will surely be missed by many. Glad to have known him.

I never had the pleasure of meeting shortdrift, but feel like ive known him for years..very very sorry to hear this..we lost a great guy..alot of knowledge..and to many alot of great memories...
