i used a lure i got at the greet n meet the lure went through the fence.. snagged on a thin branch got it free the hook ended up in my index finger
thank goodness the barb didn't go in my finger just the hook i was able to get it out it hurt if t he babrb went in i woulda been hospital bound

When practicing your cast you don't want to use a real lure just tie something similar in weight like a washer.

I was practicing my fly casting this weekend and didn't even have a fly tied.

Also, if you want you can pick up a practice plug at BPS or GM.

I don't think it was a real lure. It was one of house's Chinese specials
