I'm glad you posted that. My mother was telling me about it. Now get this....... The latest thing to have said happen is that these "Ghost Hunter" people said the noise is not human. So we have the animal specialist saying its not an animal, the human & "ghost" specialist are saying it's not human......... What is it.

Sasquatch my friend, it is a sasquatch.

  3. Dayton has bigfoot, Gahanna has a lion... Someone should start an animal chasers tour for Ohio.. Kinda like the tornado chaser tours they have out in Oklahoma area...

  4. Usually it's been after the Bengals have lost their 3rd or 4th game in a row though. :D

There have been weird noises heard by myself and other OGF members at Tappan, Clendening and Salt Fork Lakes.

Also you guys can't forget to mention the bigfoot meeting each year at newcomerstown. And I think they had some thing at Salt Fork this year too :)

thats pretty cool. My uncle and I where we hunt around here have heard some pretty horrifying sounds that didn't sound like any animal we know about.

Ohio has more people activly searching for bigfoot than any other state..And ranks high in alledged sightings.

I sit on lake banks for maybe 45 nights a year for the last 22 years. I can't identify all the sounds I hear but the scariest things I see are at catfish tournament weigh -ins. Some of those guys look very rough after a night on the lake :)

  12. Hey folks, interesting subject. Kind of a side interest of mine. If anyone would like to send me their experiences or encounters, please do. Confidentiality guaranteed. Thanks.

P.S.- I attended the 2004 conference in Newcomerstown. Pretty interesting, I would recommend it if you're curious or looking for info. And beware the BFRO

Hey wormdrowner, Flathunter and anyone who would be interested....

Maybe next year, we can all meet up there to check out the meeting at Newcomerstown. I am close to it, so it won't be a problem for me. If anyone else decides to go to it, let me know, I will meet you there!

Rockbass, sounds like a good idea..I used to be involved in searching for bigfoot..I have went on dozens of trips to alledged sighting locations.

  15. I'm voting a screech owl or great blue heron. You ever come up on a heron nest accidently and scare the crap out of the parents, that is one of the craziest sounds I've ever heard.

since I have wished I could join you guys on a fishing trip, maybe we could also make it a Catfishing trip. Salt Fork is not too far away.......Or even Will's Creek since you like the creeks and rivers Flathunter! ;)
