Portable fish finders

Discussion in 'Boats and Motors' started by pal21, Aug 1, 2008.

  1. Can anyone recommend a good portable in the $200/$300 price range.

I don't think GPS would be required, but would like to have speed and water temp.

Being user friendly would be nice.

    Thanks.

  2. I have been looking at the hummingbird Fishing buddy 140c. It is a color portable with an extendable shaft from 24" to 40". It retails for 279.00 at bass pro. Has temp but doesn't have speed. Non-color is model 130 and is 229.00.

  3. I have an Eagle portable that I believe is a model 320 it isn't color . I also have a speed and temp sensor/paddle wheeel that will work with this unit that is new in the package . I don't use it anymore since I bought a new fishfinder with a GPS .
Anyway , I never had any problems with it and it worked well for me . I just don't use it now . If you would be interested in it , let me know .
