FIRST ANNUAL PORT CLINTON ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB WALLEYE TOURNAMENT

THE GOAL: To help raise funds for the Port Clinton City Schools Athletic Departments and to have some friendly competition for all amateur walleye anglers.

TIME AND PLACE: The day of the event will be the 22nd of May. Registration for the tournament will be at the Fisherman’s Wharf (downtown Madison Street) from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on the 21st of May. Registrations will also be accepted at the same location from 6:15am to 7:00am, the morning of the event. The 12th of June will be an alternate day in case of inclement weather that would deem to be unsafe conditions by the tournament director. All registration fees would be returned to the participants that morning if the tournament is rescheduled. Actual fishing starting time will be 7:30am, launching and/or leaving from any access within the Western Basin of Lake Erie. The fishing location will be anywhere within the Western Basin, U.S. boundaries. The weigh in location will be at the Lakeview Park pavilion, across from the city beach in Port Clinton.

FEES AND DIVISIONS: All anglers will have a choice of one of two divisions to enter. Division one consists of 4 - 6 anglers per boat. Division two consists of 1 - 3 anglers per boat. Entry fee will be $20 per angler regardless of division. Winners will be determined by the combined weight of a maximum of five walleyes per team. All teams must be at the weigh in site and present their team number to a tournament official by 4:30pm to have there catch weighed and recorded.

Fees will be divided by division. Fifty percent of all fees collected will go directly to the Athletic Booster Club. All remaining fees will go to the top three places in each division in the following portions:

    1st 60%
    2nd 30%
    3rd 10%

Trophies will also be awarded to these top anglers as well. Donations are being requested from local vendors so we hope to have additional prizes.

Please feel free to call or e-mail the following tournament officials for any questions regarding this tournament. THANK YOU AND HOPE TO SEE YOU ON THE LAKE!

Just wanted to see if anyone on here is planning on attending this event. Also thought it might be nice...if you have any open seats in the boat...you could post it here. I wont be fishing this...i'll be doing registrations and weigh-ins...should be a great time and a good cause.
