  1. anyone have a good rub for pork tenderloin have a half of one i want do tommorow and want to let it sit over nite in the frig.......thanks.......mid
  2. If you have a FSO store (Food Service Outlet), get the big jar of Jamaican Jerk Seasoning. Or at the grocery store McCormicks Jamaican Jerk Seasoning. It is unbelievable as a rub for pork. I do pork loins quite often on the gril this way.

  3. I might try that, but need to know if it is a HOT spice or a Mild one. Also when I buy a pork roast I buy chef's prime or it may be called chef's choice its cheaper then the tenderloin and it more tender then the tenderloin.
  4. My wife and I both love it. I like spicy and my wife hates it. I would not call this rub hot but it has some character.
  5. i'm confused...is it a tenderloin or a loin? big difference.
  6. My favorite dust or rub is the
    1 1/2 c packed dark brown sugar
    1/2 c. paprika
    1/4 c. kosher salt
    4 Tbls. garlic powder
    2 " black pepper
    2 " ground ginger
    2 " onion powder
    2 " ground rosemary

yields about 2 cups but is plenty
enough for what you doing, and
there is no need to rub on oil or
    mustard. Just wrap in celophane
and refrig. for about 12 hrs. but overnite should be just fineand
remember to cook LOW and SLOW.

  7. i thew a rub together and it was good..........nice little kick.........creamstye white corn.............only thig missing is corn breadd.............mid
