I made it out Wed. night to a local pond to take advantage of the last hour of daylight. The pond has alot of typical pond moss with various small to medium openings scattered around. I rigged up a lizard to drag across the slop and a Weedless frog on the other rod. I had a bass blow up on the frog and missed him. THen I had a large bass blow up on it again. This time he got it in his mouth and I set the hook. After a few jumps and pulling him through the moss, I ended up with a 4# 14 ounce largemouth that went 19 or 20 inches. He was thick and healthy. Throughout the rest of the time I caught a couple more and had some more blow-ups through the moss that didn't connect but still fun! I love topwater bassin and this is why!
