Hope this is the correct forum to ask.
Going to Cider Point for vacation with my late teen sons in late May early June and looking to catch small mouth, or walleye or perch with small mouth the priority, depending on what is bighting best that time of year. Never even fished lake Erie before let alone ever hired a fishing guide service of any kind, so experienced based recommendations would be of a great help.

Since you mentioned fishing for smallmouth and walleye, I'd recommend Jonathan Shoemaker of Shoemaker Outdoors or Keven Swartz of Captain Kevin's Lake Erie Charters. Both have accounts on Facebook and are accomplished smallmouth fishermen.

He is a drift/cast walleye charter that can also do bass & perch. Walleye will be the prime fish at that time & in that area, and a drift/cast charter will let YOU catch them, while most of the trolling charters will be more of "the boat" catching fish and you reeling them in.

Trolling can be more productive, but at that time of year - both techniques will likely result in fairly easy limits.
