Has anyone ever used the newer plastic big planer boards, like the ones Amish Outfitters or Aurora Lites manufacture? I'm a fan of big boards for Lake Erie, and my planer mast mount is custom made and very strong. My boards are O.K., however I'm loking for the hardest pulling boards I can get. Any input is welcomed.

aurora lites got an awesome big board setup. I ran their boards the last 3 years and love them. They are by far the hardest pulling boards i have ran.

I would suggest painting them bright orange though, the standard white color they come make it rather hard to see with the sun.

Thanks for the input George, I have also seen driveway markers or bicycle flags used, to see them better. If I'm not mistaken, those plastic boards run low in the water and are tough for other boaters to locate?
