Friend bought the house next to his. House needs rehab which is underway.
they sold apples and grapes there many years ago. The apple trees are about gone, with only two or three still hanging on.
these bushes are planted in rows with either old grape supports, or supports for covering. Maybe blueberries?
Tried the camera Google but couldn’t get it to work.
Are they anything worth saving?

Thanks guys!
the previous owner let me hunt there and I don’t remember seeing any fruit, but I never really got that far onto his place. Just needed his permission to make a huntable parcel as it’s in Strongsville. He was in his ‘90’s and wasn’t able to keep up with maintenance anymore.
not sure if it’s just overgrown stuff where something else was planted or unmaintained plants.

Disregard, talked to my buddy who's an expert on the autumn olive and he doesnt think so 🙄 I've helped him get rid of a bunch on his hunting farm and thought that was it, sure looks close. Sorry!

Not blueberries, the fruit would be recognizable by now. My guess is Russian olive

This. Just keep trimming the grass around them. Won't know if they are high-bush blueberries or not until they get berries.

There are some small berries starting to form on them.
my neighbor has honeysuckle on her fence. It does look very close but it’s a vine.

The flower is delicious when blooming.

Not necessarily, there are quite a few varieties of Blueberries and they mature at different times. I've got 3 different varieties growing and my earliest ones only have a hint if blue to them now, I'm in columbus and he's in northern Ohio, so his would be a week or so behind mine. My latest maturing bush has just started getting berries in the last week and they won't turn blue til mid July.

ETA: That said, a closer look at what is left of the flowers makes me think it could well be Honeysuckle.

Would honeysuckle be planted in rows like they are? Can anything be harvested of it?
The flowers do look like a honeysuckle flower as Codger said. I know they sold apples and grapes because we found the old signs and the garage rafters are packed with the old baskets. Just seems like they would be a fruit/ produce that could be harvested. Kinda what made me start wondering what they could be.there’s also two ancient mulberry trees on the property too.
Another update. Looking at the pic again, I noticed the leaves are opposite. What I mean is that 2 leaves grow from the same nodule, one on each side of the stem, or opposite. Blueberry plants have alternate leaves, they alternate sides of the stem. So, those are not blueberry bushes.

Likewise, the Russian olive has alternate leaves and the young berries are yellowish. I think I'll go with honeysuckle........for now. :D

Its not honeysuckle, russian olive, or autumn olive, I’m sure of that. But the opposite leaves also eliminates blueberries. Maybe huckleberry? I’m not sure what leaf pattern they have. They certainly appear to have been purposely planted and kept up, once upon a time at least.

Decided to have DW take a look at the photos. She's a horticulturist, so I defer to her when I'm not sure. I've found she's almost always right. When I showed her the second pic, she immediately pointed to the yellow flower on the left margin, which I hadn't even noticed, and said 'Honeysuckle'. As said, she's not always right, but this time I'm pretty sure she is.
