Pike Fishing

  1. I have always wanted to do some pike fishing in central ohio and I was just wondering if anyone had some tips or places that are good to go. I have never caught a pike before and I am dying to.
  2. Don't think there is pike in centeral Ohio, your better off fishing for muskie at Alum creek.

  3. Every year during late winter/early spring, there are a few pike taken from the Scioto river up around Prospect. But like Fishingislife said, you're better off musky fishing at Alum. I'd say the spillway is loaded right now with all the water that was pushed through the dam in the past week.
  4. have caught a few below Charles Mill, Pleasant hill, and the Brinkhaven wildlife area. Can be a long day though!
