Tonight and tomorrow.
I think tonight is the best for viewing.
I'm thinking of driving to Hinckley to check them out. Parma isn't the best viewing.
We had good viewing until the state put a new intersection in.... All the dang street lights light up the surrounding area for half mile.
I'm sure I'll see a few shooting stars in the early morning.
I plan on fishing the local up ground reservoir for Largemouth bass, starting at 3:30 or so.
Our moon rise will be at 23:00 on the 12th an set about twelve hours later.
The moon is still in the first phase after a full moon(waning gibbous) so may mess-up the view.
But I'll be a lookin for the stars, an listening to the coyotes barkin an howlin at each other an hoping for the big bass or maybe two or three .
Some people know how to live. Say hay to Sasquatch out there.
O.K.---- 3:32 AM --- Headin out the door.
Shoot .....almost 7 am here...see any?
Didn't get to say hay to any Bigfoot, but seen some of the shooting stars, an caught a few bass.
Seen maybe 100-150 falling stars.
I was running Zara Spooks so most of the stars were reflections off the water --- Got to watch them spooks -- A big bass will every now an then just suck them down without any splash or noise.
So it was cool and a pain in the butt at the same time?
You going out again tonight cause the Persieds will be back out?
I can honestly say I saw a few out of the corner of my eye when I was driving home from work.
I just wish I would of had time to lay there in a chaise lounge but I would of prolly gone to sleep.
i didnt see any and i was outside most of the night looking NE.... i am highly disappointed.
EZ, I'm bummed out for you. We're you in the country or the city?
I was lucky enough to be in the UP of Michigan this last weekend, even with some extra moonlight it was an amazing show.
Skeaders drove me in before i saw any.
Ressee, yous just too sweet.
