Paint Creek is what I call my "Home Creek." I never fished the lower portions; ie, farther than a mile below the dam. I live within a 'stones throw' from it in Washington C.H. My buddy and I fished it today around the dam with absolutely no luck. I am greatly disappointed in the quality of fishing on Paint and its tributaries in the past few years. It is great to canoe but fishing has been poor at best.

Check my post on the Central Ohio Forum "Are there problems in our streams??"

BTW be very careful on that stretch in the spring when the water is up.
