Okay I have a 1987 US marine force 9.9 that isn't getting fuel into the carb. I have a fishing trip planned next week and every where I called is pretty backed up. Pretty sure it's just the carb that needs some work (floats stuck?). Anyway, any one know anywhere that is reliable and can get it done quickly, or has a hobby of working on outboards? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

Pour some seafoam in your carb while cranking the motor. Dont run it but when it hits shut it off and pour a little more in it. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Then start add more seafoam to your fuel. Let us know if it works.

Is the vent on the tank open?

If its not getting any gas in the carb, I'd say clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump, or clogged fuel line.

If it IS getting fuel to the carb but still not working then there's a good chance it's in your carb or could be a number of different small things. I've had a motor not run due to getting bad gas from a gas station before. Outboards are a lot more sensitive to bad gas than a vehicle.
