Our Trip up to the Pickerel River in Canada (pics)

Discussion in 'Fishing Reports - Out of State' started by Webman27, Jul 31, 2007.

  1. Thanks to all of those of you that helped with some pointers on fishing up there. We ended up catching 5 walleye, one musky, 21 pike, 47 smallies, 1 rock bass, 1 sunfish, 1 sucker and 1 little channel cat. The resort we stayed at, Camp Wannikewin, was spectacular. Accomodations were good, food was even better and people were the best. The fishing could have been a little better but the river was up a ton which made finding the weedbeds tough. All in all a great trip and I can't wait to go back. Here are a couple pics of the better fish.

  2. Sounds like a great trip. How were their prices? Rivers up there seem to be more reliable for fishing with weather changes. Great pics.

  3. They were incredibly reasonable, I would recommend the place no questions asked. They do have a website so you can check it out.
