Oshay 10/9

  1. After hearing all the reports about Oshay lately, I decided it was time to make a trip down there. I got in the water about 8:30am. I forgot my temperature probe so I've no idea what the water temp was. I headed south toward the dam on the east side of the river. I was using a 1/32 oz chartruse grub, letting it hit bottom then bouncing along with a slow retrive. After about 20 minutes I had 30 Crappie in the 10" - 11" range. I kept 8 for dinner tonight. I changed over to a vibee and caught several small walleye/saugeye. All in all it was a fun morning.
