Organize your tackle box(s)

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by RWBlue, Jul 7, 2005.

  1. How do you organize your tackle box(s)?

  2. by species targeted and lure types

I use a Plano soft bag that carries about 4 of the standard boxes and two of the tiny ones on the sides and a bigger hard case one that holds 4 or 5 and has a big side box. I rarely take the hard case anywhere, unless I am traveling for a few days and need it all, I just mix and match the stowaways that have what I will need into the soft one.

    Stowaways consist of

    Jigs, tubes, twister tails
    Bobbers, sinkers, hooks, etc
    Crankbaits and jerkbaits
Plastic worms, weights hooks, more tubes
Ultralight tackle - small jigs, inline spinners, small cranks

  3. I Have a soft plano bag with 5 of the big boxes in it and two of the small ones of the sides. But what I do is separate it into worms jigs and tubes (takes 2 boxes), panfish box, One for my pigs and jigs and spinner baits, The last is for the crank baits and jerk baits and what I do with those is separate them out into the depths that they will go. And just like Ashtonmj I will pack the small boxes with the stuff I will use that day.
