Our new rig has a 115 Optimax that, at trolling speeds (even with buckets) gives us a one beep warning that, per the manual, means the motor is not reaching operating temperature - even if we've been running it at much higher rpms just previously. The manual advises that we should "contact our dealer". As yet, I haven't been able to get in touch with the right guy at Vic's Sport Shop.
Anybody else have this problem? (And know what, if anything, we should be doing about it?) The motor should be well broken in by now.

Appreciate any advice,

WPM

Could be some debris causing one of your thermostats to be stuck open and not closing.

I got a new 90 Optimax last August and have trolled many times without the single beep alarm. I'd go for service.
