Did one of my favorites tonight. Fried walleye and okra. I could have ate a bunch more okra.
Gosh dang that looks good!I too love okra, but rarely get to have it battered and fried. For some reason, whenever it makes it into the house, I end up using it it gumbo. Like I did this evening.

I call this my loaded gumbo. I make 6 quarts with 2 lb shrimp, 1 lb andouille , 1 lb chicken breast, and 1 lb whatever white fleshed fish I have on hand. DW and I will have it for 2 nights, then portion and freeze the rest for quick meals when I don't have time or feel like spending time fixing dinner. Hard to find time to cook when you're retired 😉
Where's the okra in that pic? I see beer battered crappie and French fries!
