Met up with welsch dragon around 8 p.m, Didnt do too bad, maybe 15 between the 2 of us, couple fish were 13-14 inches, the dragon lost a bigger one after dark. Fish caught on topwater, at dark and shortly after, it was good fishing with you again welsch. Got a $50 giftcard from dicks for my bday, need some senkos and buzzes for the rest of the year.

If you like Senkos, consider trying a Jack's worm:

Designed for smallies by some great smallmouth fishermen.

More durable than a Senko too, but with that same great fall rate. The thin tail seems to make a differnce also.

And the Case flukes (Salty Sinking Shads) are, IMO, the best flukes going.
And pay no attention to the hellgramites, the madtoms, the fat puppy tubes, or the RS King Grub.

Yeah, it was a good time. Plus I caught my first bunch of buzz smallies. I can't wait to hit that location again, great action.

Went wading in the Olentangy on Saturday afternoon up in Delaware County with a friend from about 12-4 (only time we could get out) and didn't have much luck - caught a few good sized channel cat's on a Rebel Craw, as well as a few rather tiny smallies on the craw and black spinners. We're hoping to hit the Darby this upcoming weekend...
