Old Mans Cave State Park

  1. I have not been to Old Mans Cave in over twenty years and was thinking about going there or Lake Hope next weekend. However to my suprise I can find no listing for Old Mans Cave. Not even as a day use park. Was it closed or has there been a name change? It would not suprise me if the campground had been closed since it was pretty small but I would not think the state would shut the whole park down. It was a nice place to hike. I emailed the state but have not received a reply. Probably no one in the office for the rest of the month.

  3. Thanks. I had never heard of Hocking Hills State Park. Ash Cave, Cantwell Cliffs and Conkles Hollow all used to be listed as individual day use parks.

    I is for sure part of Hocking Hills State Park!! I was just there 2 weeks ago.
     
  5. It was close during the ice storm for several weeks, but I'm sure its open now...my sister in-law works at the camping park office
